West Seattle - The Alaska Junction

The Alaska Junction is West Seattle’s urban center. West Seattle is just one of the many wonderful neighborhoods within the city of Seattle, WA. If you’ve ever lived in West Seattle, or even just visited, you know that in the middle of all the different neighborhoods lies The Alaska Junction, the heart of West Seattle. The Alaska Junction is the middle of three different junctions in West Seattle all along California Avenue. There’s the Morgan Junction where Fauntleroy Way crosses California Ave, right near Lincoln Park. And if you keep heading North past the Alaska Junction, you’ll run into the Admiral Junction where Admiral Way meets California.

The Alaska Junction or “The Junction”, as most West Seattle residents would call it, is an amazing neighborhood with a walk score of 98! This means that if you live around this area, you can get pretty much all daily errands done on foot.
